Aversion Theory - Album Review by Rob Loicano/All Bands, All Music
“Aversion Theory "Life As We Know it" Hard hitting beat and aggressive keys and bass welcomes in Slither". Some singing and chanting as well. A tremendous amount of various instruments went into creating this musical journey. Well written and arranged with the experimental approach. Impressed with the end result. Synthesizer sounds are soothingly pleasant. Infectious rhythm and danceable beat, head bobbing and moving around and grooving to the sounds. Uniquely arranged and intricate drumming and rhythmic percussion. Keyboards, mixing in with a pulsating electronic ossolator. Extremely emotional lyrics. A plethora of different instruments, unique timing, keyboard and humming ossolator mixed just right. Guitar, nice tone and incredible chords and notes, funky at times. Percussion and piano give it more layers, proving their alternative industrial rock style. It was a breath of fresh air, open minded to try new ideas and an approach to experiment.”
Aversion Theory - Album Review by Rob Loicano/All Bands, All Music
“Aversion Theory "Simple Relativity For A Complex World" Aversion Theory is a project from former Death Maschine and Suture Seven member Jamie Robb Gibson. This is his 2014 CD, a 7 song rock oriented, with industrial vocals, funky bass, and other elements to make this a collection of some of the best musicianship we've heard. We respect when an artist expands his musical horizons. Powerful Gothic keyboards and twisted loud guitars start before a barrage of everything you would expect from an Industrial band - distorted vocals and intense Keys/ Synth. Man, we just love the bass riff! Guitars are raunchy and nasty, with a memorable lick. What an excellent funky guitar but with a rock flair to it, plus distorted vocals and intricate percussion change are innovative, which is rare and fantastic! Amazing arrangements and writing! Music shows the intense thought process that going into creating experimental and exciting pieces of musical art. Just extremely incredible!”
Aversion Theory - Album Review (Welcome To Your Li by Rob Loicano/All Bands, All Music
“Aversion Theory - "Welcome To Your Life" CD Review "Welcome To Your Life" is the fourth studio CD from Aversion Theory, and along with one remix album, have all been released by Halo Askew Entertainment. This is also the first full length CD from Aversion Theory, with ten songs, and one bonus track. Jamie knows how to create AMAZING material! I LOVE the elements on this new disc! Jamie always keeps it fresh, exciting and experimenting! With the ENTIRE disc more than one listen is required to listen to the layers and various musical elements applied in his music. Vocals and music is HAUNTINGLY fantastic. This is straight forward ELECTRONICA at its BEST!! It's fantastic when an artist isn't reluctant to experiment with other instruments and sounds, to push their creativity to its limit. "Welcome To Your Life" DOESN'T leave ANY disappointments! From the start to the final song I enjoyed it! Thank you Jamie for another AMAZINGLY written, arranged, and produced album.”

These guys laid down some bomb ass tracks and they rock the fuck out while doing so, this is a band I’d love to see live. Its different and it’s definitely catchy and opens your ears.
