Judy Roderick (1942-1992) sang with David Crosby, among others, in CO 1960-61. Went to San Francisco and sang blues there, contemporary with Janice Joplin. Joplin went home to TX, Roderick was invited to sing at the Philadelphia Folk Festival, which resulted in her first album 'Aint Nothin But the Blues' (Columbia-1964) with backing by Milt Hinton, John Hammond Jr, Wilbur DeParis, Bobby Scott, and then 'Woman Blue' (Vanguard-1966) with the late Artie Traum and Dick Weissman. As she got more into writing, there was 'Nevada Jukebox'(ATCO-1970) produced by Bill Szymczyk with her band, 60,000,000 Buffalo.
