Portrait of Centric
CENTRIC (Record Producer)

Creating your own signature voice can be very difficult, but creating your own signature sound in a medium where all drum patterns and strings sound the same is highly recognizable. Centric (born Christopher Louray Mandujan, 26) a producer from California is doing just that. His poignant percussions and bass patterns are reminiscent of what some would consider is left of the golden era of hip-hop beat making. His sound is classified as "New Age Soul" with influences such as Pete Rock, Dj Premier, J-Dilla, Kanye West and Alchemist. His instrumental canvas has already been blessed by MC's such as Canibus, Skillz, Kool G Rap, A+, Big Noyd and various others.

Skipping a beat in this industry can leave you far behind, an everyday reality for Centric. The accolades and acknowledgment he has received continues to grow as his fans await his new project "The Alter Ego". The singles "Hear the Whispers" featuring Wordsmith, "The Recipe" featuring Kool G Rap and "Tongue Action" featuring Trife has already been considered mainstream hits and gaining impetus for plays on radio stations across the country. With appearances from A+, Big Noyd and G-Unit's DJ Young Cee, Centric is ready to bring the new sound of his generation to the earlobes of the masses.

From compilations to video appearances to album releases and major production credit, Centric has maintained his signature sound. He continues to bring the listener a sound that has a lasting reverberation. For those who have said hip-hop is dead or it has been locked away now can say it is "Free At Last".
