Grease is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio where he was born and raised. He started with music at a young age, by the age of 14 he saved money by working a part-time job to purchase turntables. He learned the fundamentals of Hip-Hop by doing so, his older brother (7even 5th) was an emcee as well. So therefore he was very influential on Grease to understand and learn the culture of Hip-Hop. As being a member of the "Lower Class Society" the Hip-Hop culture drew Grease's attention, and he wanted a voice for the people who saw and felt as he did.
Grease started making a name for himself by the age of 17 by helping host a local radio Hip-Hop show along with Mr.Dibbs on 88.3 Fm (B-Boys Underground) in Cincinnati, Ohio. Grease also entered emcee battles at a local Hip-Hop club in Cincinnati where he was known for his freestyle's and bluntness throughout his rhymes. By this time Grease decided to start working with producer's to put together his first independent album entitled: "Forcast For Revelations",which he sold over 2,500 copy's the first year.
The NEW debut album: "Written Scripturez" is Grease's second album, BUT first official album to be sold in store's world wide. This album takes you on a journey through Grease's struggle in life being a single father, his spirituality, also being an original emcee (which is rare.) This album is a soulful Hip-Hop album which expresses Grease whole heartedly. Grease is an up and coming emcee with a lot to offer through his life experiences and the state of Hip-Hop right now.
