Portrait of Riff Raff The MC

It all started back in 1988 when I wrote my first song. I was 11 and influenced by my brother and "Eric B & Rakim". I hit the studio for the 1st time when I was 15 back in 1991 and never looked back since then. I started producing a few months later still at the age of 15. I got very well known in NY by the mid 90's after my first performance where I opened up for Red Hot Lover Tone, Fat Joe & The Fugees in 1995 @ Orchard Beach in The "Boogie Down" Bronx. I started doing a lot of shows across NY from 95-98 and then opened up for The Legendary Slick Rick in 1999 @ Albany University in Albany, NY. I've done production for various artist from NY to NJ to Michigan to Ohio to Tennessee. I've also done more shows over the past 9 years in NY, NJ & TN. I'm back in NY and starting to get a buzz going again. I'm appeared on various artists music in NY, NJ, Michigan & TN. I do all my own production, I write all my own lyrics & I sing all my own hooks. I perform live without any hype man or background vocals over my beat. I rock with my DJ, DJ IkO - The hottest, most talented female DJ in the business. I am all about real Hip Hop which is basically doing it for the love more than for the fame and fortune. I am an old schooler who could easily rip any of these lame new school kids apart with lyrics and with production. Many have tried, none have succeeded to stop me. I am Hip Hop and I am here to stay!!!!
