Portrait of True Margrit
THE JUGGLER'S PROGRESS is done! Check for pre-order information. The album will be distributed by BURNSIDE DISTRIBUTION CORP/IODA. The digital street date is October 20th, and the CD street date is January 19, 2010.

The San Francisco Album Launch Party for THE JUGGLER'S PROGRESS is on January 29, 2010 at San Francisco's very best dive--El Rio!

Other cool stuff this year:
* True Margrit was a regional finalist in the Mountain Stage/ Folk Alliance New Song Contest in Los Angeles
*True Margrit's song "Emily " (from the forthcoming THE JUGGLER'S PROGRESS") will be featured in filmmaker Lyn Elliot's short film "Maybe Pittsburgh".
* 3 TRUE MARGIT songs will be featured in an indie documentary ( more info soon)
* A film Margrit scored, LADY TROJANS, was chosen to play at the London LGBT Film Festival March 27, 2009

True Margrit's sound is fueled by singer/ songwriter/piano-player Margrit Eichler's husky-sweet alto, her adventuresome piano, and a secret weapon: the muscular, dynamic, turn-on-a-dime rhythm-section of Gary Hobish on bass and Andrew Bacon on drums.
