Portrait of Bryan James Gatten Band
The Bryan James Gatten Band is an exciting and different instrumental rock band dedicated to providing their fans with exhilarating, honest and emotional music.

The band was formed by Bryan on guitar and his father Eric on bass in 2000, and 2002 saw the release of the debut album, "A Package From Home." In 2008, drummer Chris Brunner joined the band and the trio was complete. That same year, the new album "Respectable Boy" was released and is currently available for sale at the iTunes Music Store, and other online music websites.

Currently extending their reach throughout the Northeast, this band thrives on live playing. Their live shows display songs from their studio albums alongside brand new compositions, as well as pieces of complete improvisation. This improvisation carries over into the other songs as well, making it so that no song is played the same way twice, adding excitement and value to each live show. Such freedom of expression allows the musicians in the band and the audience to connect in a unique moment in time, one of music and emotion.

The Bryan James Gatten Band operates under the principle that people are hungry for a gutsy and moving musical experience, without compromise. One club owner in Danbury, CT said the trio "sounded like there were five guys up there playing, not only three!" This is not dinner music.
