After playing together for 3 years, 16 year old frontman Max Keena and 17 year old drummer Mike Elliott traveled south of their hometown of Fairfax, VA to record an album at a studio owned by Keena's brother in the mountaintown of Asheville, North Carolina. Only having a week to stay for recording time, the duo made sure to arrive very prepared, pouring nearly a year of writing into 8 heartfelt and delicately constructed tracks. The album, entitled Happier Robotics captures an intensity all of it's own, fusing indie and psychedelic driven guitar riffs with an experimental atmosphere flowing over the whole mix. Yet all the while, the album masterfully and modestly stays concisely on point, making sure to faithfully stick to the raw emotion and energy behind the music, thus giving off a uniquely refreshing and original but very radio-friendly appeal. Overall, The Celestials accurately and consistently carry out a humble and endearing message of truth that radiantly shines through every bright chord and melody performed on Happier Robotics.
