A diverse band, Laura often performs with some of the most veteran talent in the south, including Barry Richman of THE BARRY RICHMAN BAND, George Price of THE GEORGE PRICE TRIO, Marvin Taylor of JAVA MONKEY, and regular band member Reg Stainback, and Andrew Loggins, all on lead guitar. Joining her on bass are Jon Schwenke, Steve Mays and Rich Tomanio, and on drums and percussion, Melissa Massey of the DIANE DURRETT BAND, Leirre Valentine, Bud Brook and Bobby Sterling. Add to the mix the wonderful vocals of Penny Fonner, and the assortment of musicians that drop in to jam and help with session work on her albums, and you have a band that is entertaining and well worth a listen.
Laura's original music leans towards American/Pop/Rock, and her lst debut album, FORCE OF NATURE, is ten original tunes; her 2nd album, RODE HARD AND PUT UP WET is a delightful assortment of "Simonized" classic rock tunes and original blues songs.
Her most recent project, BEACON OF LIGHT-a showcase of southern talent, is an amazing collection of original Americana songs, each with an era sound, BE SURE NOT TO MISS THIS ALBUM, it is one of a kind!
