Portrait of Ryan King
I have written original music since I was a young child, and have been recording my original material myself at my home for the last few years. I'm getting ready to release my first solo album, "Ryan King; Break Free" very soon, in which I have written all of the material, play all of the instruments, and sing all the vocal lines, with only very few exceptions. I've released two other albums with an original NC based band that I founded called "Full Throttle" back in the late 1990's, that were also packed full of my original music. Since then, Full Throttle has disbanded, and I've been concentrating on writing and recording things myself, and providing for my family by singing in a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band.

I'm the founder and frontman for Raleigh, NC based Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band "Tuesday's Gone", and have been making a living doing this for the last few years. I am married, and have 3 children, one of which (Tommy) is recovering from a costly small bowel transplant that saved his life. Although there are still several issues and complications that my wife and I deal with everyday regarding this, he's on the mend, and we're hoping he'll be fully recovered in the next couple of years.

I'm entered in Guitar Center's contest, "Your Next Record, with Keith Urban", and I'd greatly appreciate your vote, and my family could really use the luck right now. You can learn more about me, and my music by logging onto, and more about "Tuesday's Gone" by logging onto I thank anyone very much who takes an interest in any of my music. If one of my songs touches anyone in any way, it makes the whole thing worth doing.
