Portrait of Bosom Band

Original rhythm and sultry blues. Soulful mama Monica Lynne Chase belts it out with Bass Master.... Dan Michael & The Hit-man Mike Cifone. Bosom Band brings you back to the breast of music. This original Philadelphia eclectic group modernizes the nostalgia of juke-joint blues. The band mixes their originals with a truly unique take on timeless treasures. Live performance is a must see. This working band with special guests and talented musical friends will have you swooning and pleading for an encore.

Dan Michael ...bass is a Prominent Philadelphia Area Musician, Producer, Singer/Songwriter. He has played on many recordings with/for various Bands. He is a well known bass player, who also plays Guitar and Keyboards. His work has appeared in Movies, T.V., Albums and Singles. He was a founding member of a number of Philadelphia Bands. Along with his solo projects, he is also a member of The George Cahill Band, as a producer, arranger, collaborator, bass player, also does backing vocals and he looks great in a suit.

Mike Cifone ...drums was born in Philadelphia and started out as a guitarist on the layaway plan. Sold Christmas cards from the back of a comic book to get his first drum set. He has been playing since the age of 12 in various bands in Philly and the surrounding areas, covering many styles from wedding, heavy metal, and originals. Mike says, “I hope to someday play with a soulful blues singer with a 20's, 30's 40's style and a bass player who is dead on in the pocket, doing original music this side of paradise.....I think my dream came true”

Monica Lynne Chase ... front woman– an American vocalist and performance artist. Known for her big red head and her even bigger voice. Starting singing in the womb....and continues to sing everyday. “I love to sing. It's what I do and it's what I love to do...and when I can change the way people feel by using my voice it is invigorating.” Influenced by the blues, hillbilly, mountain rag, jazz, jam band, rock, punk, pop, classical, jive, bebop, pretty much any music and lyrical poetry. Loves to listen to music on plastic records, singing and dancing around the house. Wants to find a needle for a vintage Philco Stereophonic so she can sing to old 45s....
