Lynn Patrick's CD, On the Wind won top honors for best instrumental album and best instrumental song with the Just Plain Folks Awards 2009. 42,000 albums and 560,000 songs were submitted. The largest music awards of any kind in world history.
On the Wind also won with the Independent Music Awards in 2007 and Winnie's Guitar in 2002. Sponsored by Musician's Atlas and Border Bookstores, judges included Peter Gabriel, Tom Waits, Cindi Lauper, Suzanne Vega, Wynonna, David Grisman, Patti Loveless and many others. On the Wind was also nominated Best Acoustic Album of the Year with KUNC, 91.5 and Best Instrumental Album of the Year with the Indie Acoustic Project.
Lynn's music is currently getting airplay on satellite, cable TV and radio stations locally and internationally: Music Choice, XM/Sirius radio, the Weather Channel, Canada's CBC, NPR's All Things Considered, Morning Edition and Talk of the Nation.
