Hall of Delusions Manifesto
There was a purpose to music once. It could generate an emotion, a feeling, and when done right it could spark a generation to define itself. But over the years, we have devolved into following the thoughts, ideas, and actions of our fathers before us and have not diverted from the tried and true cookie-cutter lives that have come before. Music has followed this same pathway for far too long, and we have become a generation of zombies all walking to the beat of the same drum. In a sense, the true artist has been destroyed. A few manage to linger on, but at what point is the puppet no longer controlled by the puppeteer?
It is our belief that we have all been here before. We are not the result of some cosmic blip or one defining Supreme Being. There is a reason we are here and the true answers lie within, and we have been spreading our fathers’ altruistic thought pattern for far too long. The world craves abstraction and a divergent path, and this is where our music comes in to celebrate a new beginning. There is a constant battle between light and dark. In death, the white blinding light leads not to the path of heaven yet through the Hall of Delusions. In here, your soul is truly tested. Things are not as they appear. Good, bad, light, dark… irrelevant in this hall. But upon opening the final door…we will be amazed as to the brilliant answer that awaits us.
Our music is a blend of hypnotic, captivating sounds brought by the noisemaker DJ Fuzion mixed with Corey Brey’s mystical lyrics. We have been influenced over the course of our lives by every style of music, which is easily apparent in the eclectic mix of styles throughout our song list. By approaching music from every possible angle we will be more easily positioned to reach out to the greatest mixture of audiences.
