Jeff Mason Band

Milford Massachusetts born singer songwriter Jeff Mason is on his way to the top of the charts. At least that is the word on the street from people that have seen the 6’ 4” singer songwriter belt it out in local clubs and area concerts
“Jeff Mason was probably singing before he could talk”. Says one long time friend. This can certainly be attributed to the fact that Jeff was the youngest of 10 children in a family that absolutely loved music. This allowed him to be introduced to the music of and influenced by artists that were popular long before he was born. He was listening to what his older siblings were listening to before he established his own record collections
His smooth voice can easily be identified amidst a number of other voices due to its unique tone
Jeff took to whatever instrument he picked up very quickly and by the age of 10 years old was playing piano in local talent shows and functions. When he was 13 his parents bought him an acoustic guitar for Christmas and the rest is interesting history.
During his teens Jeff with his guitar in tow, traveled with his family throughout the US stopping for varying periods in different areas of the country all the while soaking up the musical vibe of each area. This ultimately led to the development of his own writing style, which some refer to as “uniquely mainstream rock”
Jeff has had the great privilege of playing with many of the area's hottest musicians who are now his close friends. This is evident by the list of band members and guest musicians on the recently released Jeff Mason Band debut record "Get Busy Living".
Now with Mike Sarnblad on drums, Mike Wackell on bass, Paul Courchaine on guitar and Paul Buono on Keys, the music Jeff has written is being brought to life on stage. “These guys are great people, great musicians and great friends” says Jeff , “I am already excited about the next record. We have begun to put our creative juices together for something completely new and it is really rock’n”
“Searching for and finding the right mix of talent, desire and attitude needed to bring new music to the masses is not an easy thing to do unless you have lots of money to throw at it, which of course we do not have” says Jeff. What we have accomplished, we have done on are own by working very hard at it and going without in other areas of our lives. We all simply love to play for our fans” Selling our CDs now is allowing us to continue to play. So we sincerely appreciate every person that buys one or comes to see us play… more than you may know.”
Jeff Mason specifically chose musicians from very different musical backgrounds in order to make the music appeal to a variety of listeners. All the while staying true to his direction. “We believe our hard work, dedication and songwriting will get this band where it deserves to be, and that is in the hands of our fans” say Jeff.
He further states, “ We love to play and although we have shared many of the same trials and tribulations as other bands, there is nothing more that we would rather do for a living. So we work extra hard to continue to grow musically and hope that our fan base will continue to grow as well
It will take this effort along with the support of our fans to spread the word about the CD and the Band. We welcome new fans daily to our sites, fan club and mailing lists’ and love to get comments about the band, our websites and our songs.
