About the Artist
Katie Cole is a 27 year old artist from Australia, now living in LA. To couple the placement of her song “Gravity” on the latest Movado watches American ad campaign, Katie received “MOVADO FUTURE LEGEND 2010” trophy. The song has now been played on major TV networks including NBC, ABC, Bravo, Comedy Central in 2010 & 2011.After the successful “LOST INSIDE A MOMENT EP” with Producer Howard Willing (Ok Go, Smashing Pumpkins, Sheryl Crow), Katie is currently receiving major radio play in the UK. BBC RADIO 2 play-listed the title track to her “Lost Inside a Moment” EP in June 2011 and now “Sunrise” has been playlisted September 2011. Aside from her own artist career, Katie is a songwriter and has won awards including MusicOz, ASCAP Plus award & Whooznxt.com Gold.
Katie is currently heading to the UK for her first tour and recording a new record in L.A.
