R.A.W. aka Maseratti Ric was born in Detroit, MI. R.A.W. is the Motor City MC’s initials. Born on Motown’s Eastside and raised on the Westside. His artistic family exposed him to the game early and MASERATTI Ric was born An acronym meaning Mental And Spiritual Evolution Reaching All Teaching The Ignorant Maseratti Ric AKA. R.A.W. decided to make Hip Hop his constant mistress while performing at a large after Christmas party thrown annually by family and friends since the early 90s. R.A.W. blazed the rap song, Wrecks-N-Effect’s “Rump Shaker” with co-performer & cousin Boss Dell in Flint, MI to a roaring crowd. Maseratti Ric intends to be a major player in this industry he’s embraced. R.A.W. wrote his first song at seventeen. Now years later he’s gained much wisdom and experience while establishing his underground rep. The future looks bright and Maseratti Ric is ready to dish it out R.A.W.
Maseratti Ric has also been sharpening his business side. This talented artist recently founded the new label, One Accord Music Group, which his first music project was released on.
His freshman commercial venture (The Rebirth EP) is scheduled for an ’08 release. The premier single “I Wanna Know” produced by Jelani Harris of Quantum Beats studios & co-produced by Maseratti Ric is available via iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon, Napster and eMusic.
Maseratti Ric did a few peformances in ‘09. There will be many more performances from R.A.W. aka Maseratti Ric in 2010 & beyond.
