About the Artist
Salamander Valley is the the alias of singer/songwriter Justin Persutti, former vocalist/bassist of the Upstate NY band, If We Sleep. Sala-Valley takes the listener to a new genre previously untouched by the solo artist. "For me, this is all about showing everyone a more personal/intimate side to my work. To concentrate on vocals and what I have to say more than anything else. For the most part it is an upbeat, party atmosphere but I will drop the darker layers on people as well." The debut single "Just for the Record" was released in January of 2013 to overwhelming positive reception and underdog surprise. With more tracks being released through out the year, perhaps 2013 will be deemed The Year of the Salamander.Achievements
