Technical Requirements

ETHANS MOBILE: 443-745-0622
This following rider represents a practical minimum that will work for us during a live performance.  If you have any problems, or if any of the items listed below will not be available, please contact us as soon as possible.
Fake Flowers Real Dirt has a bass-heavy, electro-funk sound, which requires an audio system of sufficient size for the venue.  Quality is much more important than quantity.  The system and its components shall be in full working order, with no buzzes, hums, beeps, crackles, clicks or other extraneous noises, and will be free from radio interference.
Professional Audio System:
• A sound board with at least 24 mono inputs and phantom power.
• There should be enough power to produce a clear sound level at 110 db RMS to the back of the venue.  System should also have good subwoofers as we do play some reggae.
• Six floor monitors with separate mixes.  If six separate mixes are not available, we can manage with four
monitor mixes though not preferred.
1 Two tier keyboard stand capable of holding 1 keyboard and 1 laptop
3 clip-on mics for congas & dejembe
1 table (5 x 2 minimum) for turntables
4 separate A/C power sources upstage for bass, keyboard and 2 guitar amps
4 separate A/C power sources downstage for DJ, Keyboards and 2 guitar pedal boards
Backline Gear:
We are fully capable of providing our own backline gear for local gigs.  If we are traveling to the event, then backline gear will need to be provided by the sponsor in addition to the professional audio system. All other needs will be brought with us. Please contact Ethan for any questions regarding the set-up.
