Great song. Would love to see a music video of this song soon. Nice vocals and you sing with lots of emotion. Keep up the nice work. Hope to hear more soon. Australia seems to have lots of talent
In an ideal world, Bobby Kidd should be a Rockstar.
Opening track “Everytime You’re Near” typifies what the music of Bobby Kidd is all about. Big hooks, guitar riffs, awesome vocal delivery, lyrically honest and mature, that comforting sense of familiarity, yet something unique all the same
Radio friendly indeed this EP is with every song capable of slotting in perfectly amongst a playlist featuring the likes of the Goo Goo Dolls, Daughtry, Bon Jovi, Nickleback, Sixx AM and Shinedown
With each song featuring a memorably melody line, it’s obvious Bobby Kidd is well versed in the art of “songwriting”. It’s so simple, yet so often overlooked, that the way into a listeners head can often be as simple as melody, melody and more melody. Yeah we know it’s a cliche, but we guarantee these songs will be stuck in your head long after they have finished. Look no further than “Just A Memory” and “Why”
Title track “Breaking Me Down” and “No Longer My Own” ebb and flow showcasing some killer vocals that express the emotion of the lyrics, topped off with some grandiose string and song arrangements. Now this kind of stuff you are unlikely to get from your latest Australian Idol or mass produced record label next best thing
With a work ethic of knowing that you have to get out and play live to get anywhere, time will tell whether Bobby Kidd will pop up in a town near you, whether it be playing a show or radio. Armed with the songs, the live performance and the looks, combined with the power of some good old fashioned word of mouth, there may be a flickering hope that Bobby’s time is yet to come
“Breaking Me Down” is available at an ITUNES store near you and tracks off the EP can be heard at the official Bobby Kidd Myspace page

Bobby is amazing! A breath of fresh air. I could listen to him all day. He has a voice that is powerful and the music is great. His songwriting is really is awesome. I know he will go far in the business.
Love this song and can't say enough about this amazing singer/songwriter/actor. I bought the EP and loved it! Breaking me down really goes in and grabs at your emotions. He sings this with such passion and one can't help to feel it. The music is great as well. I love that you can actually hear all the words clearly and was really impressed with the way he can sing with such powerful vocals. He has a very sexy style to the way he sings. I would recommend you get to hear all his songs on iTunes. I love them too. I was so shocked when I heard this guy was not signed yet. With all the bad music on my radio these days...This guy needs to and deserves to be on the top of the charts. Can't wait to hear more, soon. I tell all my friends about him. They love him, too. Well I can go on and on about him but you will just have to hear for yourself. I love his YouTube videos as well. Hopefully they can be featured here as well.
