I took this classic hymn and transformed it using harmonic minor and middle eastern sounding instruments. It is meant to create a modern and also historic backdrop for the timeless lyrics.

Nice use of the pentatonic scale. I will say the lyric didn't match the chord progression, but the introduction of additional instruments took the edge off. Good work overall on a very good resolution at the end; that was crafty.
