PlayBend Me Shape Me

by Bob Macy

The American Breed formed in my home town of Cicero, Illinois back in the mid sixties and recorded a song that hit the Billboard charts at #99 in 1967. We play this tune at live shows and everybody loves it! Recorded from scratch in my home studio, all horns and claps done on keyboard. The rest was done by my band and I with me on guitars, vocals, and mixing. Hope you enjoy. Peace everyone!

Billboard had it at #8 on Dec 30, 1967.

Pretty sure it made #1 in Indianapolis where I lived at the time.  The drum intro/break was always such a great hook.  Well done here.
