PlayMobius Street

by Jeff and Maya

Inspired by the ideas behind the unique geometric shape the Möbius Strip, the symbolism for it is “the more things change, the more they stay the same”.
That’s not really true of course, but we often get locked into uncomfortable patterns, and even when we want to change, it’s hard, especially when the patterns involve the way we relate to other people…

We used some exotic synth textures on this song, and it also features world-class musician Tony Levin playing the bass part on Chapman Stick.

Great track! Love the blend of synth and guitars, the most original song in the current contest under contemporary rock so far!
