3 Quarters Dead

3QD will enter "The Basement" studios in Winston-Salem,NC with Jamie King on March 26th to begin the tracking on our next effort entitled "The Cycle of Dust". Drums will be tracked first with the rest of the instruments and vocals to be tracked April 3-13th. The new album will consist of 10 new songs,an intro,and a few "Revamped" versions of two songs off "Between Angels and Demons". Also a cover song. A first for 3 Quarters Dead. If you have been coming to the live shows then you know what it is. We will have a few "guest" vocals that you should be able recognize as well. We have been writing this album since Nov.2010 and feel we have some of the most diverse material we have ever created. We will announce a release when we finish the recording process along with all the extensive work that goes along with it(photo's artwork,music videos,etc.) We will have a few shows thrown in there in the next few months. Frankly, i am tired of sitting in my house every weekend and some during the week pounding these songs out. ha!! I'M READY TO PLAY THIS STUFF, GET OUT AND RAISE HELL WITH ALL THE WILD ASS 3QD FANS!!! Writing and recording is such a pain in the ass. To me it is anyway,but very rewarding and VERY necessary in the end. Greetings to all those in the land of the nearly dead. Ha. In the past few months we have been grinding out songs for our next effort,which will probably be titled "The Cycle of Dust". We have nearly 10 new songs completed with 1 you will more than likely recognize. We start the recording process with Kenny recording drums on March 26th.The rest of the record will be tracked April 3rd -13th with a "hopeful" release date in the Summer. We will have a few "recognizable" names on this one. I will not disclose them right now. (sorry),but longtime 3QD fans should not be dissapointed. We have a good mix of songs ranging from melodic to "ball out" thrash. In the style ONLY 3QD can deliver.ha. Just thought i would let all the fans know what is in store for the future and not leave everyone hanging. In the meantime BE SURE TO REQUEST US ON ALL THE Internet/COLLEGE RADIO LINKS WE SEND OUT!
