About Nylon Sneaky

Langley, Canada

This group has a long history, they have been through a few band name changes over the years and have played a variety of musical styles but have finally settled on a unique fusion of their most beloved styles of music. Tribal Circle Drumming and Acoustic Blues.
The first version of these three dynamic women was called “The Earth Tones” in the mid to late 90's . The music was mostly rock based.
They later joined forces with four other women to form a group called “Various Artists”, this group performed mostly original, blues based tunes.
Basic Blue was the next reincarnation of the the ladies ( and the name speaks for itself).
Alice Lyons played in Cover Bands in Northern British Columbia for approximately 10 years in the 1990's She also performed in the festival circuit in the 1990's performing original material
Benefit Performances have always been a great passion for this group, participating in numerous benefit concerts such as Women In Song, (benefit for VAWIR)
The Earth Tones played some of the Northern Festivals in the late 90's as well., such as Mountain Music Festival and the Smithers folk music festival
Various Artists” performed in Langley B.C. At the BC Singer Song Writer Association Show Case and at the Good Times Cruise In.

After many life changes and much soul searching the group finally decided to go to the 'practice shack' and stay there until they were satisfied that they had a sound that was new and unique. Now that they have achieved that goal they are ready to share it with the world. They have created a fan base on FaceBook and My Space and have recently joined Reverbnation.

They will be trying out their new sound at open mics in the lower mainland and hope to play a few festivals this summer. They will be giving their Demo recording to any and all who are interested in acquiring one and hope to go into the studio to record a righteous CD in the very near future.

Their on stage performance is energy packed humorous and quite simply a whole lot of fun. With a primal beat that you can't help but move to and an extremely rhythmic blues guitar backing three strong vocalist, this group is hard not to enjoy.
