About Beat Team
We started off with 1 common goal, MUSIC. We get together 1 night in Axton, VA fa a jam session. It was Mr. Burns, Big Chill, Lac, Pheno Tha "G", Conscious, & our instruments. We made magic that night 4 hours. 1 week later we moved everything into Big Chill's basement. Smoke County/ BFI was born that day. We added Teo Da Prime, Red Eyez, Yung Slim, Jay Jigalow, Steel Rodz, Apples, Nard, & Sic minded. That was 09/02, by 12/02 we were finished with Pre-Season is Over. We had da streets on smash with our ghetto brash antics. We were everywhere slangin our cds. We quickly started working on our next project. We added a couple more people: Yung Bump, Mic Dillinger, Legacy, Kaliba Shellz, Da Beast, M-Dizzy, B-Luva, & B-South. We moved the studio to Martinsville, VA on Fairy St. We released da double Cd, Welcome 2 Bangasville. Dis was an instant classic, wit street bangers Gunz & Coke, F**k these B**ch Azz Niggas. We released solo albums by Pheno, Teo, Kaliba, Lac, & all were double cds. We added a couple more folk, Danger, Dom, Go-Go, Messiah, Ghetto Princess, & Ante. That's when we released da bomb, Tha Grind Project Vol 1 & 2. The whole album was off da chain, that’s when da wheels fell off. Where there's a lot of talent in one place, u has jealousy.
