About Bobby "Fats" Howard
Schenectady , NY
I started playing at the age of 4, first on drums, and jamming with my father's jazz quartet. By the age of 8, I had moved on to the keyboard and never looked back. I was primarily an instumental artist until the ripe old age of 35, when a great friend of mine convinced me I was overlooking my other musical gift of singing. I am "whiskey throated" for sure, but have come to love doing vocal interpretations as well as playing keyboards. I love to blend R&B with jazz and pop. I hope you enjoy my work.
