Some people are simply destined to fulfill their dreams. Others may have to put in years of hard work, blood, sweat, and tears to eventually reach their goals. And yet there are others who despite hard work and dedication are simply destined to sit in a cubicle for the rest of their lives...
Growing up in the Washington D.C. area, Chazz began writing his own music at the age of 9 using a small keyboard that his parents had lying around the house. He recalls, "I just grabbed a handheld tape recorder and placed it up to the keyboard and kneeled down to sing into it". Chazz's interest in music continued to grow and thrive well into his high school years.
Fast forward to today, Chazz now writes music of a different subject matter than in his high school years. He states, "I'm all grown up now and I want to address the some of the adjustments that many people have to make when they reach this point in life." His project "Cubicle Muzik" includes songs that cover a range of topics that people of his age or older are faced with. He discusses the stress of working life and finding a satisfying career as well as struggling to get one's finances in order. Chazz realizes that it is a creative risk to make the type of music that he makes, but he believes that it is time to promote another side of life.
