About Cheryl G

Washington, DC

One of the most versatile vocalists in the DC metro area, Cheryl Gilbreath generates energy and excitement everywhere she performs. Jazz, Gospel, R&B, Top 40, Hip-Hop, Neo-Soul, Latin and Pop -- Cheryl Gilbreath accepts any challenge!

She has performed at the John F. Kennedy Center of Washington DC as well as various venues in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, St. Thomas of the Virgin Islands, and Jamaica. Some of her proudest engagements was her rendition of "Star Spangled Banner" for a national gala honoring former President William Clinton, and most recently singing at President Barack Obama's televised Neighborhood Inaugural Ball.

Cheryl Gilbreath specializes in weddings, religious functions and social events. She will work with you well before your event date to understand your preferences and help plan just the right music for your celebration. Cheryl also specializes in recording sessions and songwriting. She can provide lead and/or background vocals for any recording project or demo. If you need some special lyrics and melody to one of your instrumentals, she will gladly collaborate with you to create a masterpiece!
