Chris borchardt

Saxophonist, Chris Borchardt, is a young emerging talent from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He currently attends Augustana College in Sioux Falls and is pursuing a degree in Music Education and is heavily involved in the music program there. Chris specializes on the Soprano, Alto and Tenor saxophones and plays regularly in the community. Throughout his years of playing,Chris has had the opportunity to solo alongside such jazz artists as: Chris Vadala, Mike Tomaro, and Matt Wallace and has also had the opportunity to play background for Allen Vizuti, Audrey Morrison, David Bixler, and Chris Vadala. Chris released his first album in the summer of 2010 entitled Influences. The album has songs that range in style from swing to Latin, and gospel to pop.
