About Chrystal Le'ne
Chrystal was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. At a very young age, she discovered that she had the ability to sing. Although very shy, her talent could not be denied. This young lady has been writing since the tender age of nine. She wrote two songs entitled "OO OO YOU LIED" and "YOU ARE NO GOOD." Although her songs never made it outside of the household, all that lived there knew the lyrics. She wrote about the things she saw, how she felt and others experience in life. She would make up a song about anything including being sleepy. Music lives in her heart and that seem to be the one thing that brought her happiness. Her family could see that this young girl was going somewhere in life and her music would get her there. After watching constant videos of her favorite performer/entertainer, Janet Jackson. Chrystal began to realize that in order to do what she does best (sing), she had to become bold as a lion. It was time to put the shyness away. She began singing in her middle school choir. Later she joined her high school choir, church choir, and community choir. She has performed in local talent shows (many taking first prize), shows, weddings, clubs, and her own shows to boost her confidence, gain experience and to give her exposure. She's has also performed at The House of Blues, Pier 6 and the historic Baltimore Hippodrome doing backup for local artist around Baltimore. Chrystal is also influenced by singers such as -Yolanda Adams, Patti Labelle, Mary J Blige, Jazmine Sullivan. Many have discovered that Chrystal is not your average singer. Although she is small framed, her voice is big, strong, energetic, powerful, cute but sometimes just vicious. Most are shocked to hear her delivery. She feel her music, she expresses it and she overall becomes it. She wants her lyrics to make you think about life. Wanting to bring something different to the table and to stand out among the average and have an impact on her audience. Chrystal desires to send a positive message that will change lives, hearts, and minds of her listeners. Her wishes are to encourage, express love and to bring unity to people everywhere through this universal language. After growing wiser and having to face a lot of obstacles in her life, she now pours more of herself into her music because she speaks from experience. Now she doesn't only write about what she heard, but what she has lived-its personal. Her writing abilities are growing into full maturity with the heart of a nine year old. She knows that her gifts and talents will pave the way to her destiny.
