derLaan is a Bay Area artist who originated from Europe. He has been taught music since the age of six, learning multiple instruments, playing in the schools orchestra or plucking the strings as a guitarist in a band.
Early on dL recognized his passion for creating original tunes and setting different moods with different chords... the music on this site is a representation of his rather thematic songs, pieces that would most likely work as soundtracks.
