Empathy

Empathy started 4 years ago on the fateful day on which Ryan McAdoo (now 17) and Sean Morey (now 18) met. Sean was playing piano and Ryan came up behind him and started improvising some lyrics (not good ones mind you).

They started out with a Ben Folds quality that has slowly formed into what they are today: incredible lyrics, great melodies, un-formulaic songs, awesome piano driven rock sound, Billy Joel-esque ballads, and fun harmonies.

Since the beginning, things have slowly changed for the better. Ryan is the songwriter, pianist, singer, while sean is the producer, other pianist, and background vocalist.

They are now best friends who often are up past the break of dawn finishing a recording or writing a song. Click on over to their myspace for a collection of their songs, and thank you for listening!
