Ginny Johnson

I'm a classically trained singer who listens to just about anything!  A national award-winning country and gospel vocalist, I received a Bachelor’s of Music Degree in Vocal performance from Connecticut's HarttSchool, University of Hartford. I have been singing since early childhood, and appeared with many Boston-area choruses, including the Fine Arts Chorale and Chorus pro Musica. I've performed in the chorus for the Opera Company of Boston and Boston Lyric Opera. I am also a vocal instructor/coach at the South Shore Music Company in Weymouth, MA.

I sing lead vocals for the Boston-area country cover band, Ashmont Station. “Ashmont Station plays a little bit of everything,” she says, “from bluegrass to rockabilly, traditional to new country.” I am a proud member of the Massachusetts Country Music Awards Association (MCMAA), New England Country Music Organization (NECMO), Rhode Island Country Horizons (RICH), New Hampshire Country Music Association (NHCMA), the Connecticut Country Music Association (CCMA) and the North America Country Music Associations, International (NACMAI).  Her awards include:
