About Hands On The Stereo
Hands on the Stereo was born in April of 2008 with four members. A few hundred lucky folks were privileged enough to be the first to hear HOTS on September 19, 2008, when they played their inaugural show at a Knights of Columbus hall in New Jersey. After the loss off one of the original members in August of 2009, the three remaining original members, Robert Bednarz on guitar, Corey Reilly-Davis on bass, and Matthew Trawinski on drums, decided that HOTS was their dream and they would not let it die, so they recruited Christopher Cunha on vocals, and David Falcone on guitar. By October 2009, Hands on the Stereo was reborn. The song writing process began and the band would soon discover a natural ability to write infectiously catchy tracks. If you were to ask any fan how they would describe HOTS, they would say "fun." Hands on the Stereo is an easycore pop-punk band with up-beat vibes but enough energy to make even the most brutal kids want to open up a pit.
HOTS was back in action by mid-October and hit the ground running, spending time working with the new members writing and recording some tracks. June 20th saw the release of their self-titled EP, which has been making its way around the internet like wildfire, met with positive feedback from fans and e-critics alike. They hit the road for their first tour on July 23rd, promoting their EP with their buddies in Viking Viking Viking and brought their music to new areas on the beautiful East Coast. As for the future, the band is in the process of writing new songs they plan on recording sometime during the next few months. They also can't wait to head back on the road and spread their music to hungry fans.
