Hey there, HP I'm listening to With Reason, and I hear the reason you chose that name for yourself. You've got some stuff going on, HP. Your voice is unique and you can play. Those are two big pluses in the modern music scene. Here are couple of thoughts. It'll ad to your credibility if you work on your mic technique. Pops and plosive breath sounds undercut that. Also, if you can afford it, go out and get yourself a robust software based digital work station and get good on it. Sonar is excellent if you're a PC person. Propellerhead has a new package, too, called Record. I hear it's very intuitive and fairly bulletproof. Logic gets high marks from Mac users and Pro Tools (the lite version) actually works on both platforms and its interface is an industry standard. Your music has passion, but you'll find it hard to cut through the clutter if your recordings stay at their current level. There are just too many ordinary songs with better than average production out there. That's distracting to both audiences and industry professionals and a songwriter who relies on the sheer brilliance of his/her artistry COULD be setting themselves up for heartbreak and disappointment Hope I'm not treading too heavily, here. I don't mean to be. Good luck, and All the bes
Hi guy I think you have a really good voice. If you were to add drums, bass etc, you would be a big hit. You definitely have the magic happening. Nice and moody and heartfelt stuff But, hey, you might like to do it the way you are Good luck and thanks for the friendship
