About Howard Lips
Howard Lips is a singer-song writer and producer who was discovered by Porter Wagoner and Dolly Parton back in their hayday of six number one duet albums for RCA Records. The singer-song writer was once again fortunate to have written three songs recorded by the pop group The Platters. Those three songs, ("Ridin' On The Mainline," "God Saw The Blood," and "Cheer Up My Brother") are now part of their all-time Gold and Multi-Platinum songs!
Lips says that Goodness and Mercy has followed him all his days and that destiny provided him the opportunity to produce Tim Kinsey, a fellow singer-song writer and multi-instrumentalist from Mobile, Ala. The two singer-song writers were both fortunate to be nominated for the 2008 National Music Awards in the Country male artist category. As his producer, Lips was a winner because Kinsey won the best male Country artist for 2008. Here you will find selected music produced by country music superstar, the late Porter Wagoner.
