3 small town boys that growed up walking beans and bailing hay, spent their younger days in the woodshed, carving out their own unique style of "one horse town Blues/Rock" which still continues to emanate from the epicenter of corn and soybeans - somewhere just in between Memphis and Chicago. They call themselves II Ton Heavy Thing. II Ton Heavy Thing’s original music has been featured Track of the Day & Track of the Week at Garageband www.garageband.com, and has reached the top 2 of the Blues/Rock category at the same. Their tunes have been picked up by The Texas Blues Café – a weekly pod cast based out of Dallas/Fort Worth: www.texasblues.podomatic.com. In addition, the band and their music have been featured at regional Illinois radio stations WEFT, WPCD, and eXtra 99.1. II Ton Heavy Thing crosses musical boundaries. It crosses generations. It brings people from different backgrounds together at a single, common denominator – blues-based music.
