In reflection, there is no reflection. We come to leave. Always moving in some direction we feel is sure to be the correct one.We traverse through miles and miles of emotions, love and remorse, devotion and betrayal, joy and sorrow, loyalty and loneliness. The further we travel the rougher the terrain. We gather treasures and discard baggage along the way, a constant balance of weight upon our shoulders. Ultimately when we reach our destination we find deception or redemption. For what ever reason at this point, for better or worse, we always come to leave. One must go back for the ones he/she loves if their travels have led to success, and in failure one must return to find himself. We constantly pass ourselves within ourselves, following paths and returning once more for something we need or have left behind. In reflection, there is no reflection, only a U-turn. Jason Carrell
