JB Rocket was formed during season two of CMT's Can You Duet. From the producers of American Idol, the show searched for Country Music's next upcoming duo under the direction of celebrity judges, Naomi Judd (The Judds), Scott Borchetta (Big Machine Records) and Big Kenny (Big & Rich).
Both Jonathan and Brandon entered the competition with other partners. After being split mulitple times, the judges put them together to form JB Rocket.
They soon became a crowd favorite and clicked with instant harmony and the desire to succeed. They impressed the judges with their ability to take songs frrom the past and bring them into the present with their vocal arrangements and energy.
At the conclusion of the show, JB Rocket came in as the first runner up. Since then they have been busy writing, peforming concerts and meeting fans all over the country.
