Joel Buckner

Growing up on the west side of Columbus, OH, Joel was a member of Bibleway Church, where he got his start in singing. At the age of eleven he did his first solo, "In Christ Alone", by Michael English; from there he began to direct the youth choir and sing in the Columbus Boy's Choir. Music became his life! At a praise and worship conference he met a pastor by the name of Jonathon Alvarado (Total Grace Christian Center, Atlanta, GA). Pastor Alvarado taught him the essence of worship and how to lead the people of God into His presence.

Since then, Joel has penned such compelling worship melodies as"Beyond the Veil" and" I Am Worship." "Arise" is a declaration to the Believer to release the past and embrace all that God has for you. "We Come to Worship You" is an infectious praise to the Lord.
As an anointed Psalmist and Worship Leader, Joel has had the opportunity to travel extensively and draw people into the presence of the Living God. He also tours as a background vocalist with artists such as Tonya Baker, Amante Lacey and Jonathon Dunn.
Joel's passion is worship, and he makes that point clear each time he ministers! The sincerity in his music ministry is obvious so that one knows it's not simply a song, but a lifestyle.
