J. Ski was born Justin LaBron Anderson in Hinesville, GA and raised in Darien, GA. He started out singing in the church and writing songs at the age of 7. He relocated to Atlanta, GA to attend Georgia State University and pursue his music career. He dropped a mix tape in 2005 with the rap group D.O.B Dem Official Boyz, which received major buzz in the streets of Atlanta. He reemerged on the scene in 2006 with the single “Goody Good” on 92.7 jams in Brunswick, GA. He has performed along side major acts such as Plies, Trick Daddy, Lil Boosie, Young Dro, Yo Gotti, and several others. J.Ski dropped his second mixtape in 2007 entitled “Got juice?” under his alter ego Juice, which featured Lenny Williams on “Hip Hop Forever”. He came back in 2009 with his single “Cash Crop” that has been spreading from Detroit back down to GA. Dj King Cyze released it on his infamous Guns and Butter mixtape and it was also featured on the Southern Classic mixtape. With support from Dj Bigga Rankin, J. Ski keeps his southern lingo going as his smooth delivery takes you back to that old East Coast vibe. With the industry changing like it is J. Ski ‘s ability to create a Pop like sound on Hip Hop tracks sets him apart from the competition. His next single “Hex” is sure to be the cross over track of the decade. The Independent Label Donks R US Entertainment based out of Brunswick, GA has fueled J. Ski’S buzz in the northern Florida area. J. Ski recently finished shooting the music video for “Cash Crop”. With plans to drop another mix tape “SwagFlu” Fall 2009 and with no signs of slowing down, J. Ski will be flooding all radios soon.
