Kid Rad

Kid Rad may be a name you have heard before, as the 19 year old rapper / songwriter is not only the first UK rapper to have performed live on BBC Radio 2, but he has also been steadily creating a huge buzz from countless mixtape appearances, performing up and down the country and garnering airplay from DJ's across the entire board of musical genres including Janice Long (BBC Radio 2), Tom Robinson (BBC 6music), Misty Rabbit, Brett and Louise (BBC WM), Tricksta and many others. Since signing to Occupy Your Mind records back in 2005, Kid Rad has been developing his music with help from label owner Lunatrix (who still runs the label alongside DJ Vokal to the present day) to create a sound which is credible enough to represent the artform from which Rad came from, yet experimental enough to encapsulate audiences from all walks of life.
