Los Despiertos! Is an exciting new band that hails from the artistic underground of East LA. This three piece band is coming at you at full throttle with smooth and heavy rhythm styles of latin-reggae, ska, and rock-pop. The birth of this melodic group of individuals came about when they all disbanded from a typical L.A skacore band for their different views of artistic expression. Soon after Carlos E. Herrera II, Carlos J .Camacho and Charlie Castro went into the lab (rehearsal studio) and the chemical reaction that took place was inevitable. Consciously aware of their surroundings in a severely damaged world, Los Despiertos infuse social justice views with a sprinkle of optimism.
