The group MAS BAJO, milestone of the Afro-cuban musical scene, gathers latin-americans and french musicians.
MAS BAJO was born in 1999 and during 9 years the band played in France a vast song's list based on the classics and standards of Salsa music.
In 2008, the cubain singer Raul Henriquez arrives and the band starts to evolve towards composition and creation. The album "Pancho Ilegal" was released in June 2009.
This record was very favourably received in France and abroad.
MAS BAJO was invited to play in India, at the célebre "Blue Frog" in Bombay. A few months later, the band took part in the prestigous Europa Jazz Festival.
"Pancho Ilegal" deserve mention at several music and records magazines such as "Latin Beat Magazine" from California. Recently, MAS BAJO was invited by the world-famous label "Putumayo" to take part in his next album "Latin Party" to be relesased in April 2010.
On stage, thanks to more than 550 concerts, MAS BAJO captivate the audience with a fusioned and original Salsa and engaged lyrics. While remaining faithful to the riche, sensual and joyful tradition of the Afro Cuban music.
