Hwood started to rap at age 11 for fun, but really got into it at age 20 he started to get serious with music. He found a keyboard in the house and learned how to make beats. After finding the keyboard, he quickly learned music terms such as bars, sequencing, intro, verse, hook, bridge, B section, alternate hook, vamp and vampout. He quickly became a producer for himself and others and started creating songs over his beats or music.
