Neighborhood Watch started as the brainchild of Mitch Briner and Mark Beyer in 7th grade. It only took three years for them to find Ryan Dalton and Steve Mariasy, which permanently set the idea in motion. But one component was still missing: the bassist. Enter Jon Leach, the fifth and final member of the band. With the lineup established, Neighborhood Watch began practicing in the summer of 2009. In the now sacred space of Mitch's basement, Mitch, Mark, and Ryan created what is now regarded as the pinnacle of their creativity; the opus that would set them apart eternally from all other garage bands; the song that defines the very essence of Neighborhood Watch: Run. With this song, Neighborhood Watch proved to the world that they were indeed worthy of praise and admiration, and forever cemented into the consciousness of the collective human mind their musical prowess and unparalled skill.
