Rusty Spurs

The Rusty Spurs did start out few years ago as a bunch of mates who got together for some fun in the old woolshed, but then joined by some new buddies from the north of the border, around Melbourne and even the UK, who brought with them a vast array of experiences, which range from overseas to session work. The 5 members have all had their share of fun on stage with bands like Twister, Gill Askey, Farren Jones, The Alex Matthews Band, Jive, Synchronicity, Joystick, including a chance to play at Tamworth. With collaboration coming easily to the accomplished song writers, they have taken original songs to the studio to record their first five track EP, with the intention of sharing it with the world. The result demonstrates their connection with the old classics to the new country rock, reaching into the northern hemisphere for inspiration from artists like Lucinda Williams, Montgomery Gentry, Terri Clark, Bonnie Raitt, Julie Roberts, Keith Urban and Martina McBride.
