About Shianne Mariah Phillips

Shianne Mariah Phillips was born in Swindon, England. Ever since Shianne could remember, she had dreams of seeing her name in bright lights. At the age of four Shianne moved to Toronto, Canada where she performed “Hero” by Mariah Carey getting nothing short of a standing ovation. At that very moment, Shianne knew this was her true calling. Shianne grew up in a household that was filled with music ranging from Reggae to R&B. Being influenced by the music around her Shianne is inspired by veteran artists such as Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Etta James, Whitney Houston, Lauryn Hill and also newcomers in the music world like Leona Lewis and Jasmine Sullivan. Shianne has worked with many producers such as Boi 1da (Drake’s “So Far Gone”) and Kim Davis who is a renowned singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada (“Hush” ft. Sizzla). In 2010, at 19 she inked a deal with Alpine Music Group, a production company formed by business mogul Eric Nicks (formerly Sr. VP of A&R of Sony and then Universal Motown) and singer/song writer August Rigo (penned Justin Bieber’s “U Smile”, Iyaz’ “Solo” and many other upcoming projects). Shianne is currently working on her debut album with August Rigo & Justa Beast amongst other high caliber producers. With talents such as having more than a 4-octave range, being able to produce whistle notes constantly as well as writing and composing, it’s safe to say Shianne Mariah Phillips is on the road to success.
