DeNae won BET's 106 and Park's" Wild Out Wednesday" singing competition Feb. 11th 2009 and returned to BET and won 106 and Park’s “WOW ALLSTARS COMPETITION ” on August 24th 2009! In October of 2009 She was featured on the 106 and Park Tour with Trey Songz, Mario, Day 26 and Sean Garret. DeNae also won the opening act spot on the "Be Seen Being Green College Tour" 2010 featuring Trey Songz and Fabolous! She won the Verizon Karaoke Contest in Fort Wayne, IN and The Indy Idol in Indianapolis, IN which was televised on Fox 59. As a result of winning The Indy Idol, DeNae was sent to New Jersey with a guaranteed audition for American Idol where she made it to the top 180 people out of 19,000 people. Performing in several concerts, venues, and showcases opening up for acts like T.I., Lyfe Jennings, Pleasure P, Trey Songz, T Pain, Lil Wayne, Plies, Mike Epps, Ginuwine, Rich Boy, Rocko, Ying Yang Twins, Bone Thugs N Harmony and Bubba Sparks, and several others DeNae is far from a stranger. Appearing in magazine articles and getting major radio play from West Virginia, Indiana, Nevada, Illinois and more, television and radio appearances, the songstress has already began her journey to stardom. Her leading song “You Should Have Told Me” has already been name top ten phones at WRVZ at 98.7 the Beat in Virginia.
