Mufreesboro , TN

Teresa's love for music began at a very early age, listening to music with her beloved Grandmother. She was influenced by many different styles of music. Artists that have influenced her are very diverse, encompassing many genres, such as: Mahalia Jackson, The Rolling Stones, Tammy Wynette, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Wonder, Karen Carpenter, Janis Joplin, Linda Rondstat, Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Hank Jr., and, Aerosmith, just to name a few.

Teresa’s peers have called her, ‘ the best country singer there is’, although she modestly disagrees. Her style has been compared to the ‘edginess’, of Linda Rondstat, combined with the feel of Tammy Wynette. She simply states that she loves all music that comes from the heart, and great performers such as Elvis, Garth, and Michael Jackson. She prefers to be known as an artist that can ‘touch people for the better’.
Teresa has been through all the living hell that the music business in Nashville has to offer. She has decided to write a book about her life and struggles with ‘Music Row’ in Nashville. The title will simply be, “Teresa’s Truth”. This will be a tell-all book, and should be completed in late 2010.
